In every plan.

The core of RentYourTime is in the Free plan, which costs nothing and has no time limit.

  • Live daily meter and virtual rent

    A meter counts today’s screen time against your free allowance. Past the allowance, every minute adds virtual rent, so the cost is in front of you while you decide whether to keep going.

  • Your own daily allowance and rent rate

    You choose how much free time you get each day and what a minute past it costs, and you can change both in the settings. The limit is yours, not one somebody else picked.

  • Daily receipt

    The day, itemised: time used, free allowance, billable time, your rate and the total. One look tells you how the day went.

  • Streaks and weekly overview

    Every day within your allowance extends your streak. The weekly overview puts the last seven days side by side, so a slip is visible and so is progress.

Your account, your data.

  • One account everywhere

    Sign in on the web, iOS and Android with the same RentYourTime account.

  • Your numbers stay on your phone

    Your sign-in and profile are shared across platforms. Screen-time numbers are measured on your phone and stay on that device.

  • Nothing is blocked

    You set the allowance and the rate. The price is a nudge you set for yourself, not a lock on your apps.

  • The rent is never charged

    Every bill is virtual: a signal, not an invoice. Supporting RentYourTime is optional and separate.

  • Delete your account yourself

    You can delete your account and its data from your account page or by email.
