§1

- The service provider and seller is:
ATLASHC Paweł Dolatowski
ul. Sadowa 9, 64-514 Pamiątkowo, Poland
Polish tax ID (NIP): 7871113283
Support and general questions: support@rentyourtime.app

Legal notices and complaints: legal@rentyourtime.app
- These Terms are available free of charge at https://rentyourtime.app/terms before a contract is concluded, in a form that can be downloaded, saved and printed.
- Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy; account and data deletion is described on the Data deletion page.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that consumers have under mandatory law. Where there is a conflict, the mandatory law applies.
§2
Definitions
- Website — the website at rentyourtime.app together with the RentYourTime API.
- App — the RentYourTime mobile app, once published in an app store.
- User — anyone using the Website or the App.
- Consumer — a natural person entering into a transaction not directly connected with their business or profession (Article 22¹ of the Polish Civil Code).
- Sole trader treated as a consumer — a natural person concluding a contract directly connected with their business where the contract is not of a professional nature for them (Article 7aa of the Polish Consumer Rights Act); the consumer provisions of these Terms apply to them to the extent the law provides.
- Account — a User’s individual account on the Website.
- Free plan — the features available with an Account at no charge.
- Pro — the paid feature set provided through a Subscription or the Founder Program.
- Subscription — a paid contract for Pro for a monthly or yearly period that renews automatically.
- Founder Program — a limited, one-time-payment offer with the Founder First, Founder Gold, Founder Black and Founder Titanium Black tiers.
- Founder tier — one of the tiers of the Founder Program (§8).
- Virtual rent — a motivational amount shown once the daily time allowance is exceeded; it is not money owed.
- Support payment — a voluntary one-off payment towards RentYourTime (§9).
- Waitlist — the list of people who signed up on the Website to hear about access to RentYourTime.
- Digital service — a service within the meaning of the Polish Consumer Rights Act, including the Account, Pro and the digital Founder Program benefits.
- Durable medium — anything that lets information be stored and reproduced unchanged, e.g. an email.
- Stripe — the payment provider Stripe Payments Europe, Limited and the Stripe group companies.
§3
Services
- Free services: browsing the Website, the demo, joining the Waitlist, requesting a RentYourTime for Teams pilot, joining the beta through the Discord bot, and the Account and dashboard on the Free plan.
- Paid services: the Pro Subscription (§7) and the Founder Program (§8). Support payments (§9) are voluntary.
- RentYourTime presents time spent on your phone as virtual rent. Virtual rent is not a fee or a debt — we never charge for time spent on your phone.
- RentYourTime features are released gradually; some run in the App, which may launch on different platforms at different times. The features currently available, what Pro includes and planned dates are shown in the offer description before purchase. Dates marked as estimates are not binding commitments, which does not limit a Consumer’s rights if a service is not supplied.
- RentYourTime is a habit-change tool. It is not a medical device or a medical, psychological or financial service. The figures shown are estimates based on device data.
- We may temporarily stop accepting new orders for a paid service; this does not affect existing contracts.
§4
Technical requirements and specific risks
- To use the Website you need an internet-connected device, an up-to-date browser with JavaScript and browser storage (localStorage) enabled and — to create an Account — an active email address or a Google, Apple or Facebook account. The App requires the device and OS version stated in the app store.
- To pay you need a payment method supported by Stripe on the payment page.
- Using the internet involves risks such as malware, phishing (impersonating us in emails or on websites), password theft or unauthorised access to an unprotected device. We recommend up-to-date software, a strong unique password, checking the site address before signing in and signing out on shared devices. We never ask for your password by email.
- Users must not supply unlawful content through the Website.
§5
Account
- The Account contract is concluded when the Account is created — by registering with an email and password (at least 10 characters, including an upper-case letter, a lower-case letter and a digit) or by signing in with Google, Apple or Facebook — for an indefinite period and free of charge.
- You must be at least 16 to create an Account. Paid contracts may be concluded by adults; minors only with the consent of their legal representative, unless the law provides otherwise.
- When you sign in with Google, Apple or Facebook and an Account with the same email address exists, you are signed in to that Account. The data we receive from providers is described in the Privacy Policy.
- You must provide accurate data, keep your password and email account secure, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. An Account belongs to one person and must not be shared.
- You may terminate the Account contract at any time with immediate effect by deleting the Account on the account page or by emailing privacy@rentyourtime.app. If the Account has a renewing Subscription paid through Stripe, switch off renewal (§7(7)) before deleting the Account yourself; if you ask by email, we will do both. The effects of deletion are described on the Data deletion page.
- We may temporarily block access to an Account where needed to protect the Account or the Website, or where we reasonably suspect a breach of §14 — for as long as needed to clarify the matter, telling you why unless the law prevents it.
- We may terminate the Account contract: (a) with immediate effect for a serious or persistent breach of §14 that continues after a warning, where a warning is possible; (b) with 30 days’ notice if we stop providing RentYourTime. Termination is sent by email with reasons. We refund the pro-rata price of any prepaid, unused Pro period, unless we terminate under (a).
§6
Free plan
The Free plan includes the features marked “Free” on the pricing page. It requires no payment details and involves no charges.
§7
Pro subscription
- The Pro features, price, billing period (monthly or yearly) and any discount are shown on the pricing page and on the payment page before you order. The price on the payment page is the total amount payable for the period. Prices are in US dollars (USD); your bank or card issuer may charge its own currency conversion fees.
- People on the Waitlist (except those who opted out) receive a discount if their Account email matches the address on the list. Eligibility is checked automatically when checkout starts; the discount is shown before payment.
- You order while signed in by choosing a plan and continuing to the Stripe payment page. The contract is concluded when Stripe confirms the payment; Pro is activated promptly after that confirmation.
- The Subscription renews automatically for further periods of the same length, and the fee for each new period is charged to the saved payment method at its start — until the Subscription is cancelled.
- If a charge fails, Pro access is paused until a payment succeeds. Stripe may retry the charge.
- We may change the Subscription price for valid reasons: changes in law or public charges, a material change in the cost of providing the service (including provider fees) or a change in what Pro includes. A change applies only to future billing periods and is announced by email at least 30 days in advance. If you do not accept it, you can cancel before it takes effect.
- You can cancel at any time on the account page (“Subscription” tab, manage subscription button that opens the Stripe portal) or by emailing legal@rentyourtime.app. Cancelling switches off renewal — Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. The current period is not refunded, without prejudice to §11 and §12.
- Subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play are billed by Apple or Google under their terms, and are cancelled and refunded there. We reflect their status in your Account.
- Buying a Founder tier does not cancel a Subscription. If you do not want further charges, cancel it under point 7 or 8.
§8
Founder Program
One Founder tier per user. A User may own only one Founder tier at a time, and every Founder purchase is for exactly one membership. If you already own a Founder tier, all other Founder tiers are unavailable to you.
- The Founder Program consists of limited, one-time-payment tiers: Founder First, Founder Gold, Founder Black and Founder Titanium Black. Each tier’s price, quantity cap, Pro period and other benefits are shown on the Founders page and the payment page before purchase; the description at the time of purchase forms part of the contract. Where a Waitlist discount is offered for a tier, it applies as in §7(2).
- Founder purchase rules. These rules apply to every Founder tier:
- A User may own only one Founder tier at a time.
- A Founder checkout is limited to one unit: it covers exactly one membership of one tier, and the quantity cannot be changed.
- If you already own a Founder tier, all other Founder tiers — and a second purchase of the same tier — are unavailable to you. A Founder tier cannot be upgraded, downgraded or swapped, and you cannot pay a difference to move to a higher tier.
- An unpaid checkout may only be resumed for the same Founder tier and cannot be switched to another tier. While a checkout is unpaid you cannot start a checkout for a different Founder tier. Once the unpaid checkout has expired or failed it no longer blocks you, and you may start a new checkout for any Founder tier that is still available.
- You own a Founder tier once its payment has been confirmed (point 3). A payment that failed, a checkout that expired and a purchase that was refunded do not count as owning a Founder tier and do not by themselves prevent a later Founder purchase, which remains subject to availability (point 4).
- The contract is concluded when Stripe confirms the payment. You then receive the next free number in the tier. Pro access is switched on at that moment, including before the App launches — except for Founder Black and Founder Titanium Black, where it starts once identity verification is completed (point 5). The Pro period included in Founder First (12 months) and Founder Gold (36 months) is counted from the public launch of the App on 15.12.2026 or from the payment, whichever is later, so a purchase made before launch does not shorten it. Numbers are assigned in order and are not returned to the pool. Founder status and the Founder number are permanent: when a fixed Pro period ends, only Pro access ends, and the Founder status, the number and the Founder benefits that do not depend on Pro remain.
- Every Founder tier is limited in quantity and a purchase is subject to availability. Where a tier holds a place for you while your checkout is open, the place is released if the checkout expires or fails. Once a tier sells out it can no longer be bought.
- Founder Black and Founder Titanium Black require identity verification, carried out by Stripe Identity after payment. Your membership is activated, and Pro access begins, only when the verification succeeds. This requirement is shown on the tier’s card before you buy.
- “Lifetime Pro” (Founder Black and Founder Titanium Black) means Pro access at no extra charge for as long as we provide the Pro service.
- Benefits delivered on Discord (rank, channels) require a Discord account and membership of the RentYourTime server and are subject to Discord’s terms. Their status is shown in the dashboard.
- Founder Black includes a physical kit (numbered card, personalised certificate, signed letter, T-shirt with your number). You provide shipping details (full name, address, country, size) in the dashboard after purchase. We charge nothing extra for delivering the kit; for shipments outside the European Union customs duties or import charges may apply under the law of the destination country. Unless a delivery date is stated in the offer, we deliver the kit without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract — or, if shipping details are provided later, of the day they are provided.
- Founder Titanium Black includes the same physical kit as Founder Black (numbered card, personalised certificate, signed letter, T-shirt with your number). The kit is delivered to you personally by the founder of RentYourTime, subject to scheduling, availability and reasonable geographic limitations. It is delivered by arrangement with you individually and not through the shipping-details form described above. Founder Titanium Black also includes a private week with the founder of RentYourTime, with dates, location and format agreed individually and subject to scheduling, availability and reasonable geographic limitations. Both services are arranged by mutual agreement once the membership is active. Travel, accommodation, meals and other expenses are not included in the price unless RentYourTime confirms otherwise in writing.
- Founder Black and Founder Titanium Black one-to-one calls and consultations require advance booking and depend on availability; unused calls do not roll over, and a booked slot may need to be moved by agreement.
- A Founder tier gives no equity, rights to code, intellectual property or revenue of RentYourTime, and does not guarantee employment or cooperation. Roadmap votes and feature submissions get priority consideration, not an obligation to build them. “Early access” and “priority” benefits depend on the work schedule, and dates given are estimates.
- Appearing in the Founders directory, the credits or promotional material is optional and requires consent given in the dashboard, which you can change at any time.
§9
Voluntary support payments
- A signed-in User may make a one-off support payment equal to a chosen percentage (5%, 10%, 25%, 50%, 75% or 100%) of accrued virtual rent, not lower than the minimum amount Stripe can process.
- The payment is entirely voluntary. It is not payment for goods or services, does not unlock features and does not reduce or “settle” virtual rent.
- If a payment was made by mistake or without your knowledge, write to legal@rentyourtime.app and we will consider a refund. This does not limit your statutory rights, including towards your card issuer.
§10
Payments and documents
- Payments are processed by Stripe on the Stripe Checkout page, which shows the available payment methods. We do not receive full card details.
- Subscription invoices and receipts are available on the account page (“Billing” tab). On request we issue any sales documents required by law.
- You can save or print these Terms as in force at the time of purchase from this page; the version number and date are shown at the top.
§11
Right of withdrawal
Consumers and sole traders treated as consumers may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason and without costs, except for those described in this section.
- The withdrawal period runs from the day the contract is concluded — for the Subscription and the Founder First and Founder Gold tiers. For Founder Black and Founder Titanium Black, which include a physical kit, the period for the kit runs from the day you take possession of it and, for everything else, from the day the contract is concluded.
- To withdraw, send a clear statement before the period ends to legal@rentyourtime.app or by post to our address. You may use the model form at the end of these Terms, but you do not have to.
- We refund all payments received without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving your statement, using the same payment method you used, unless you agree to another method at no cost to you. After withdrawal, Pro access, the Founder number and Discord benefits end; the number is not returned to the pool.
- If you expressly requested that we start providing a service before the withdrawal period ended and then withdraw, you pay for what was provided up to the withdrawal, in proportion to its extent (Article 35 of the Polish Consumer Rights Act). If you made no such request, or were not informed of the right of withdrawal, you bear no costs for services provided before the withdrawal (Article 36).
- There is no right of withdrawal from a service contract once we have fully performed the service with your express prior consent, after you were informed before performance began that you would lose the right once the service is fully performed and you acknowledged this (Article 38(1)(1)).
- There is no right of withdrawal for items of the Founder Black kit made to your specification or to meet your individual needs — personalised and numbered for you (Article 38(1)(3)). If you withdraw from the rest of the contract before these items are made, we will not make them.
- Withdrawal from App Store or Google Play purchases follows Apple’s or Google’s rules.
§12
Conformity and complaints
- We are liable to Consumers for the conformity of digital services with the contract under Chapter 5b of the Polish Consumer Rights Act — for continuous supply, throughout the supply period — and for the conformity of the Founder Black kit under Chapter 5a. We supply the updates needed to keep digital services in conformity.
- If something does not conform, a Consumer may require it to be brought into conformity and, where the Act so provides, declare a price reduction or withdraw from the contract.
- Send complaints to legal@rentyourtime.app or by post to our address. Please include your Account email, a description of the problem, when it happened and what you would like us to do — this helps, but is not a condition for accepting the complaint.
- We reply to a Consumer’s complaint within 14 days of receiving it, to the email it came from or as you indicate.
- Consumers may use out-of-court dispute resolution, e.g. help from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów), mediation or a permanent consumer arbitration court at the regional Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa). More information: prawakonsumenta.uokik.gov.pl. Consumers in other EU countries can contact the European Consumer Centre. Our participation in such proceedings is voluntary and agreed case by case.
§13
Changes to digital services
- We may change continuously supplied digital services beyond what is needed to keep them in conformity only for valid reasons: (a) security; (b) changes in law or decisions of authorities; (c) changes in services of providers RentYourTime depends on (e.g. Apple, Google, Meta, Stripe); (d) developing features or fixing bugs; (e) technical changes that improve the service.
- Such a change costs the Consumer nothing, and we inform you about it clearly.
- If a change materially and negatively affects your access to or use of the service, we tell you reasonably in advance on a durable medium, and you may terminate the contract without notice within 30 days of the change — unless we let you keep the unchanged service at no extra cost (Articles 43p–43q of the Polish Consumer Rights Act). If you terminate, we refund the part of the price for the unused period.
§14
Acceptable use
In particular, you must not:
- supply unlawful content or use RentYourTime to break the law or infringe others’ rights;
- access other people’s Accounts or share your Account;
- disrupt the Website, bypass security or limits, or run attacks or security tests without our permission;
- bulk-download content or use automated tools in a way that burdens our infrastructure;
- bypass payments or obtain discounts or benefits contrary to these Terms;
- copy, resell or modify RentYourTime software, except as mandatory law allows;
- impersonate us or anyone else.
§15
Intellectual property
RentYourTime software, marks, graphics and content are legally protected. For the duration of the contract we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Website and App as intended, for your own use. A display name in your Founder profile is shown only in the ways you choose.
§16
Liability
- We aim to keep the Website running without interruption but may need short technical breaks. This does not affect a Consumer’s rights where a service does not conform to the contract.
- We are not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of figures shown in RentYourTime, which are estimates meant to motivate.
- Towards Users who are neither Consumers nor sole traders treated as consumers, our liability is limited to actual loss and to the amount paid by the User in the 12 months before the event causing the loss; this limit does not apply to intentional damage.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability towards Consumers where the law does not allow it.
§17
Changes to these Terms
- We may change these Terms for valid reasons: changes in law or decisions of authorities, changes in the scope or manner of the services, new services, security needs, or changes to our details.
- We announce changes on the Website and, to Account holders, by email at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not accept a change, you may terminate the Account contract before then; a change does not adversely affect Subscription periods already paid or Founder tiers already bought.
- A shorter period is possible where a change is required by law or by an authority.
§18
Governing law and disputes
- Polish law governs the contracts. For Consumers, this choice does not remove the protection of mandatory provisions of the country where they habitually reside.
- Disputes with Consumers go to the courts competent under general rules. Disputes with Users who are neither Consumers nor sole traders treated as consumers go to the court competent for our registered address.
§19
Final provisions
- These Terms apply from September 17, 2026.
- For contracts concluded before that date, these Terms apply 14 days after the User is notified of the change under §17; provisions more favourable to the User apply from the effective date.
